Digital Community Manager (home-based)

We are looking for a self motivated and innovative Digital Community Manager to manage Fulbrighter, the Fulbright Commission’s professional online networking platform, and to lead its expansion to Fulbright alumni around the world.

This role is responsible for planning and delivering strategic communication activities to encourage a high user adoption and engagement rate and assist Fulbright Commissions around the world to join Fulbrighter. Developing a good relationship with the platform developer is essential as you will need to ensure good functionality and timely technical support.

The successful applicant will have at least two years experience of managing a large digital community and have previous project management and marketing experience in a digital environment. A working understanding of HTML coding and website editing is required as is knowledge of social media best practice. A keen interest and experience in international education or cultural exchange is desirable.

Although employed by the US-UK Fulbright Commission, this post is home based with regular virtual meetings with the Fulbrighter Advisory Board and occasional visits to the Commission’s London office if possible.

This post is full time and fixed term until December 2020.

Salary: Competitive
