At first, it had been extremely difficult studying in the US. For example for a little while I suffered with culture shock. I felt very alone and even though there wasn't a language barrier, it felt like there was one. However everyone was very welcoming and supportive and I have made great friends.

Because the US is much larger geographically than the UK, it means you get the opportunity to participate in classes with students from all over the world, it is very diverse and you get to learn LOADS about culture and traditions.

I think you should consider funding because US universities tend to be a bit more expensive then the ones in the UK. Getting funding also helps with getting all your school supplies, like the books you need for each term. So check that out before you apply to US universities.
