Caylin Louis Moore was born and raised in Los Angeles County, California. He attended the Mighty Verbum Dei High School of Watts, CA. In high school, he was a two-sport athlete in football and track and field, a leader of the associated student body and campus ministry team. In his community he coached youth football for the Southern California Falcons, tutored youth at 112th street elementary school and a host of other service activities.  During high school he interned for Shea Properties and Union Bank. He is currently a sophomore student-athlete at Marist College, a private liberal arts college in Poughkeepsie, New York. As an economics major and psychology minor, he has been an honor-roll student for every semester of his collegiate career. As a division-one athlete, he plays quarterback for the Marist Football team. He is still heavily involved in the New York community of his school while leading in the Special Olympics, the White Ribbon Campaign against domestic violence against women, the “Take Back The Night” against domestic violence against women and a speaker at “Mon Afrique” to foster African Awareness on the Marist campus to name a few. During the Fulbright Commission Summer Institute at Bristol, he is looking forward to strengthening his leadership skills, experiencing another culture and gaining further insight on himself and his world community.
