Hasan Dindjer grew up London and studied Law at New College, Oxford. He graduated with a First and stayed on at Oxford to read for the BCL, in which he obtained a Distinction. He specialised in comparative human rights and administrative law, international law and armed conflict, and legal and political philosophy. Hasan has been the recipient of various prizes and scholarships, including the All Souls Prize for Public International Law, the Herbert Hart Prize for Jurisprudence and Political Theory, the Law Faculty Prize for International Law and Armed Conflict, undergraduate and graduate college scholarships, and the 1379 Society BCL scholarship. During the BCL, he was a researcher with Oxford Pro Bono Publico, contributing to reports for use in ongoing human rights cases before the appellate courts of Hungary and Namibia. He has also been heavily involved in competitive debating for many years and has represented England and Oxford internationally; he is a former Grand Finalist of both the European Universities’ Debating Championships and the World Schools’ Debating Championships. Hasan will study for the LLM at Harvard Law School, focusing mainly on public law (broadly construed) and international law.
