In addition to her nomination for the summer internship at the United States Department of State, Joanna has been selected for the USF Doctoral Student Leadership Institute Fellowship, published her research in international publications, translated book chapters, taught courses in political theory and international politics, and presented at numerous academic conferences, where she has been awarded the International Studies Association John Winkates Graduate Student Paper Award and the Pi Sigma Alpha Award Best Graduate Paper Award, respectively. Her current research interests focus on the role of supranational courts in the promotion of cosmopolitan legal norms regimes.
