Josh Eagle is Professor of Law at the University of South Carolina School of Law and is affiliated both with USC's Marine Sciences Program and its School of Earth, Ocean and Environment.  He teaches courses in property law, environmental law, natural resources law, and ocean and coastal law. Professor Eagle has authored or co-authored more than twenty law review articles, peer-reviewed articles, books, and book chapters. Before joining the faculty at the University of South Carolina, he helped found and lead Stanford University's Fisheries Policy Project, an interdisciplinary research project linking Stanford Law School and Stanford's Hopkins Marine Station. Professor Eagle received a JD from Georgetown University Law Center in 1990, an MS in Forest Sciences from Colorado State University in 1996, and a BA from Johns Hopkins University in 1985. Professor Eagle will be spending the spring and summer of 2013 at Queen’s University in Belfast teaching and learning about similarities and differences between laws regulating coastal land use in the US and U.K.
