Gresham College (est 1597)

Gresham college, London's oldest Higher Education Institution, is an independently funded institution that has been providing free public talks within the city of London for over 400 years. Founded in 1597 under the will of Sir Thomas Gresham, Gresham College is now based in Barnard's Inn, Holborn, in the centre of London. Over 100 free public lectures are given each year by Gresham's eight professors and other visiting speakers. The college does not award degrees or teach courses.

Distinguished Scholars and fellows may be able to offer free public lectures at the prestigious Gresham College in Central London (please speak with the Programme Director if you are interested). All Fulbrighters are encouraged to attend the many free talks, presentations, and discussions that Gresham organises each year.
