Distinguished Awards in Teaching
The Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching programme recognises and encourages excellence in teaching in the US and abroad.
US teachers receive grants to study at a university, observe classes and complete a project pertaining to their field of educational inquiry during their time abroad.
Application guidance
The Distinguished Awards in Teaching are a separate and distinct programme to the core Scholar Awards.
The application process for the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching is facilitated by the Institute for International Education (IIE). Please contact IIE via fulbrightdat@iie.org if you have any questions about the programme.

Applicants are encouraged to state an institutional preference in the Inquiry Project Proposal section of their application.
