Ulster University

The Fulbright Ulster University Award in Art, Design and the Built Environment covers a three-month research project within the ADBE Faculty.

Ulster University is a multi-campus university located in Northern Ireland. The university was established in 1968 as the New University of Ulster and can trace its roots back to 1849, when the School of Art and Design was inaugurated in Belfast.

Art and Design research at Ulster University is in the premier league of subject research in the UK. The environment for staff and research students was judged to be 100% internationally excellent and world-leading by the REF2014.

The Built Environment Research Institute (BERI) conducts internationally excellent and world-leading research within five highly active research groups and centres.

Grant amount

  • £2,500 per month

This funding is intended as a contribution towards US-UK travel, institutional fees, accommodation, and general maintenance costs while in the UK.
