Queen’s University Belfast is one of the leading universities in the UK and Ireland with a distinguished heritage and history. With cutting-edge facilities and world-class staff, Queen’s is a member of the Russell Group of UK research-intensive universities and is ranked in the top 10 in the UK for research intensity.

The University is globally connected with strategic partners across the world, helping to expand impact on wider society locally, nationally and globally. We are committed to attracting, retaining and developing the best global talent within an environment that enables our 24,000 staff and 3,800 students from over 80 countries to realise their full potential.

In addition to conducting academic research, the University would expect the Visiting Professor to participate in lectures, research roundtables and staff seminars in the host School. Award holders may also wish to contribute to relevant workshops and colloquia and to give lectures and seminars, such as a Master's class for graduate students.
