Fulbright projects can last between 3 and 12 months.

Applications to fund postdoctoral positions at US universities will be accepted for appointments of up to 12 months

For all other lecturing/research applications, preference will be given to projects lasting up to 9 months. Those lasting more than 9 months will be considered providing justification is made for the longer time period in the application project statement.

Hosting arrangements must be arranged separately between the prospective scholar and their chosen institution.

Grant amount

• $5,000 per month

This is intended as a contribution towards any institutional fees and accommodation & maintenance costs while in the USA.
