Founded in 1789, Georgetown is the oldest Catholic and Jesuit University in the United States.

Drawing upon the 450-year old legacy of Jesuit education, we provide students with a learning experience focused on educating the whole person through exposure to different faiths, cultures and beliefs. Georgetown’s residential campus is located in the historic Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC.

Our 7,000 undergraduates hail from all 50 U.S. States and over 100 nations who study in one of our schools; the Georgetown College, the School of Nursing & Health Studies, the School of Foreign Service or the McDonough School of Business.
