Advising Resources for Your Students

Grad School Day audienceDo you advise UK students interested in studying in the USA? Is the application process for American universities new to you? Our advising team is here to help!

Don’t hesitate to refer your students to our comprehensive website on study in the USA and the Fulbright Awards for postgraduate study and research. The Commission hosts a spring USA Grad School Day workshop prior to the Fulbright Awards deadline, in addition to autumn seminars on postgraduate study. Your students may also wish to take advantage of our Resource Library in London and outreach events to selected UK universities.

If you advise students applying for postgraduate study in the US beginning in the 2012-13 academic year, they may also be interested in the Fulbright Awards for study or research at any accredited US university, in any discipline. The application process for Fulbright Awards opens on 1 February, and applications are due on 31 May. For more information and application details, please see our page on the Fulbright Awards for UK students.
