IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society

The Fulbright Award covers any one-year full-time master's degree programme offered by the institution.

From legacy to innovation, IOE has been shaping policy and helping government, organisations and individuals to navigate a radically changing society for the last 120 years. Working across education, culture, psychology and social science, IOE creates lasting and evolving change in a real-world context. IOE is world-leading in education, research and enterprise, and has been ranked number one for education worldwide every year since 2014 in the QS World University Rankings. In the last Ofsted inspection, IOE secured ‘outstanding’ grades on every criterion for its initial teacher training, across primary, secondary and further education programmes. In the most recent Research Excellence Framework assessment of university research, IOE was top for ‘research power’ (GPA multiplied by the size of the entry) in education.

Founded in 1902, IOE currently has more than 8,000 students and 800 staff. In December 2014 it became a faculty of University College London.

Its research addresses society's most important challenges and its teaching inspires students by providing them with first-hand experience of leading-edge research and knowledge creation.
